ORPHANAGE MISSION

Now with your support, generous donations and duas we will be building orphanages in The Gambia and Pakistan, In’shaa’Allah.

In Pakistan there are more than 4 million orphans, whilst in The Gambia there is estimated to be around 63,000 orphans from a population of roughly 2.5 million people. The large majority of these orphans are all living in poverty or substandard condition therefore not having sufficient nutrition, nor any chance of an education to better their future.

Orphans have a high chance of psychological disorders; they are often traumatised and will suffer from severe mental conditions. Not having any access to any form of education or contact with any other children can tend to have a lack of confidence and have very little social skills. There can be tendencies for serious behavioural problems due to having no hope or dreams for a bright future.

Both orphanages will consist of a school, masjid, accommodation, cafeteria, library and sports facilities. The total cost for phase 1 will be £550,000 for both orphanages. The capacity will be 500 children per school. An estimated 110,000 blocks will be used in building both orphanages. You can help build the orphanages by donating £5 per building block.
