The harsh Winter has reached countries where millions of lives are at risk. Freezing temperatures, snow blizzards, heavy winds, and rain, are conditions which the Ummah has to contend with, right now!
Many have been victims of natural disasters in the past few months and now desperately need secure shelters, clothing, bedding, and heating fuel to endure the Winter.

As harsh winter grips Afghanistan, Lebanon, Morocco, Turkey/Syria and Gaza, vulnerable families face chilling winds and dwindling resources. Your generosity through our Winter Emergency Appeal is a lifeline of warmth and hope, delivering essential aid where it's needed most.
In September this year, Morocco was hit with the strongest earthquake it has experienced in the past 120 years! More than 59,000 homes were damaged and 19,000 homes were destroyed. 500,000 people have been displaced. Alhamdulilah, As-Suffa Relief responded immediately by deploying a team to support the victims with tents, blankets, and food parcels.
The people of Morocco are now in desperate need as the temporary tents they have been using are inadequate for the harsh Winter conditions. We are aiming to provide Winter Packs and aluminium shelter units so that our families can brave the devastating Winter conditions.
The approaching winter worsens the dire economic conditions for refugees in Lebanon; with families struggling to afford essential items like heating, blankets, and food. Syrian refugees, especially those in Arsal and Beqaa, face harsh winters with sub-zero temperatures and flooding, particularly affecting those in non-permanent shelters. Baalbek-Hermel,where these towns are located, is one of Lebanon's coldest regions, exposed to severe storms.
Around half a million people have been displaced in Afghanistan due to the recent earthquakes and there are currently over a million refugees arriving from Pakistan who are in need of urgent assistance. Afghans were already suffering from 20 years of war, and have now been left without any food, water, or medical care in many areas of the country. There are over 20 Million children in dire need of assistance this Winter. Without urgent action, over 1 million children could lose their life within the coming weeks. They need your help!
In February this year, a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 7.7 struck Turkey and Syria with the epicenter near the Turkish city of Gaziantep. So far over 50,000 people have died, a number which is set to increase this Winter. As-Suffa Relief immediately responded providing aid to those worst affected. With your donations we plan to rebuild the lives of the victims however they need aid now to make it through this challenging season.
