Celebrate Eid al-Adha with a Meaningful Sacrifice

Eid al-Adha is a time for المسلمين (Muslims) worldwide to come together in celebration and compassion. It’s a time to reflect on the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and his unwavering faith. As-Suffa Relief invites you to share the blessings of Qurbani (sacrifice) and contribute to a cause that uplifts those in need.

What is Qurbani?

Qurbani is the Islamic ritual of sacrificing livestock, typically a sheep, goat, cow, or camel, during the days of Eid al-Adha. The meat is then distributed to the less fortunate, fostering a spirit of generosity and community.

How is your donation used?

  • The Qurbani will be carried out within the three days of Eid in the country where your animal has been donated.
  • The meat is cut and distributed by As-Suffa Relief’s staff and partners to families in deprived and poverty-stricken areas.
  • In the unlikely event of an unexpected issue arising in purchasing the animals or in conducting the Qurbani, As-Suffa Relief will contact the donors before or on the days of Qurbani.
  • All efforts will be made to carry out Qurbanis in the selected country, however in the unlikely event of any issue arising, Qurbanis may be carried out in a similar price zone and any donor will be informed prior or after the Qurbani takes place.
  • As-Suffa Relief may add a minimal amount to the cost price of the animals to cover fluctuations in foreign exchange rates and associated administration costs. In the event of surplus being accumulated, the funds will go back into the Qurbani campaign.
