In the wake of the latest war in Lebanon, where over 1,497 people have been killed, more than 4,639 have been injured, and 1.2 million have been displaced, the humanitarian crisis continues to deepen.
- Years of economic collapse, political instability, and now devastating conflict have left Lebanon on its knees.
- Airstrikes and ground operations have destroyed homes, hospitals, and vital infrastructure, with 47 primary healthcare centres and 5 hospitals forced to close in the South and Beirut’s southern suburbs.
- Over 137,000 people, a third of them children, are sheltering in nearly 700 collective sites, many of them schools, with little access to food, clean water, or medical care.
